Evil, evil scammers.

I got the most peculiar, broken-english inquiry off Etsy about a week ago. It asked me things that were clearly in my listing (I try to leave no question unanswered), and seemed overly concerned about shipping costs (also listed) and about how they wanted to use their own shipper.

I contacted Etsy. Yep, a huge scam.

Now, I’m a Little Guy. A Wee Teeny Little Guy. My friend Cherie, who owns Shrimpton Couture, is not. Her enviable client list is only matched by her unbelievable stock. She’s a vintage dealer - and the stuff she has is really unique, hard to find, and expensive. And her customer service is amazing - I modelled my wee little shop off hers.

And some fucker ripped her off.

Read her story here, and if you’re an e-tailer, please be careful out there. Please share and retweet. People will take advantage of anyone, and anything. Keep your spidey senses alert.
